We released an update for WP-Backgrounds Premium (v1.9.0.0).

Changelog for version 1.9.0.0:

  • Fixed an issue with the image resizing function which could cause black bars to appear on the top/bottom. If you made any changes to the plugin files you just need to replace includes/wp-backgrounds.css

How to use the “Media Gallery” in combination with Flashlight

Update: Please update your theme to version 1.9 – this tutorial isn’t required anymore…

This tutorial will guide you through all steps which are necessary to use the “Media Gallery” in combination with Flashlight.

1) Requirements

You need to download the Flashlight theme. I’d recommend the latest version from Themeforest.
Afterwards download the “Attachments” Plugin from the offical Plugin Repsitory. The direct link is: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/attachments/. You can buy the “Pro” version but it’s not necessary. The free version offers all features we need right now. If you’re developer the pro version might interest you though.

We released an update for WP-Backgrounds Premium (v1.7.0.0).

Changelog for version 1.7.0.0:

  • Login Page improvement: We use a native wordpress hook now to change the logo url/title. No javascript workaround is required anymore.
  • Change: Meta box image uploader uses Plupload drag’n'drop image uploader now (WP3.3+ only).

We released an update for WP-Backgrounds Premium (v1.6.0.0).

Changelog for version 1.6.0.0:

  • Bug Fix for WP 3.3: The image uploader of the meta box class was broken. We’ve added the new class which comes with a new, working uploader.
  • Bug Fix: The “randomize image” option broke the slideshow – fixed now.
